Hello everyone! I am so excited to say that I will be traveling to Italy this May! This will be my first time traveling to Europe and I could not be more excited! I will be going on a faculty led study abroad program where we will tour several different cities, including Turin, Cuneo, Florence, Bologna, and Milan. In addition to sightseeing all of the amazing art and architecture we will also be tasting some really delicious foods. We'll be going behind the scenes at one of the world's premier chocolate confectioners and tasting some of the world's best chocolate. We'll enjoy a 7-course lunch at the traditional family run Piedmont farm in Cuneo. We'll enjoy wine and olive oil tastings, cooking classes in Bologna, a tour of a cheese factory in Parma, and so many other exciting adventures. I will be posting daily while I am there to update everyone on my experiences, so get ready for lots of pictures of some amazing food, incredible sights, and stunning architecture and artwork! This ten day long program will be a wonderful way to explore the culture of Italy through food and I couldn't be more excited!
